The Basics
WIR's OTC custom wire forms and welded wire forms often produce amazing results eliminating metal waste, and reducing product weight. Wire forms can also increase a product's efficiency, and eliminate secondary machining operations. This translates into a reduced inventory production time and can lead to enormous cost savings.
Complex designs with numerous secondary forming, welding, and assembly operations are easily produced by WIR's OTC Program in tubing (round, square, rectangular and flat oval), wire and solid rod. Our state-of-the-art production machinery can process flat wire, half round, and many other shapes including a wide variety of special and exotic shapes. In addition, we have the in-house capability to produce stamping and other metal/plastic forming operations reducing your costs and product lead times.
In order for us to manufacture superior parts at a fair price, we have a large resource of dependable, certified suppliers. Our vendors are certified by meeting our rigorous standards that we consider to be essential for the production of high-quality wire forms.
WIR's OTC Wire Forms can be done in bright low carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, and aluminum, to name just a few materials.

The Welding
At WIR, every weld in our OTC custom wire form and welded wire product that are produced meets our demanding quality standards. We employ environmentally-friendly, fully automated resistance welding techniques at every cross wire intersection and on all butt welds. The result? Clean, precision, and repeatable welding with minimal weld flash and splatter. This results in stronger and more attractive wire forms that deliver reliable performance year after year.
Our expertise includes butt welds, tee welds, cross wire welds, projection welding, and arc welding. At WIR, welding is not considered a secondary operation but instead is treated as a primary operation to making superior custom wire form solutions.
